Children enjoy varied indoor activities, getting messy is part of expression. Creativity such as cutting and sticking, play dough, painting, chalking and sand are part of the day. Other activities include; - construction, dressing up, home corner, small world toys, puzzles and games. Babies enjoy treasure baskets, baby gyms, shape sorters, shakers and rattlers.

We enjoy the outdoors all year through by taking walks when the weather allows and we always walk to school. During the best of the weather we spend all day outdoors, eating out as well. Activities include tents, tunnels, and home corner, chalking on the middle patio, paddling pool, trikes, prams and buggies.

During the school holidays we venture further a field.  We visit Whipsnade Zoo, Stanborough Lakes, Aldenham Country Park and local sites. Killigrew School has a fantastic outdoor pool, which is looked after by a team of parents, lifeguard and the local environmental officer.

Trips are risk assessed, child records are kept in the car. Children are transported in a car with Class 1 business insurance and child appropriate car seats.

Buggies have 5-point harness and full rain or sun protection, cosy toes in the winter.
